James E. Chiaravalloti Sr., 59, of Hudson, died unexpectedly at his residence on Monday, March 31st.
James was born in Marlborough, son of the late Francis and Marie (Balthazar) Chiaravalloti. He was raised in Hudson where he attended local schools. He was a retired custodian working for the Nashoba Regional High School in Bolton for many years. James resided in Wisconsin for 15 years until returning to Hudson in 2003. He was a former member of Christ the King Parish in Hudson.
James was an avid fisherman and enjoyed hunting in his spare time. He always looked forward to spending time with his family and friends. He will be truly missed by all.
He is survived by his three children, Jody Chiaravalloti of Wisconsin, Kristin Oates and her husband Cory of Wisconsin, James E. Chiaravalloti Jr. of Clinton and his former wife and mother of his children, Judith (DeRosier) Chiaravalloti. He is also survived by his four sisters, Carlene Cardin, Julie Lurz, Barbara Butcher and Brenda McClellan and her husband John, all of Hudson; his two brothers, Francis Chiaravalloti and his wife Kathleen of Hudson, Richard Chiaravalloti and his wife Prachaub of Lakewood, WA; his two grandchildren, Tyler James Chiaravalloti and Olivia Oates along with his many special nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
Family and friends may attend calling hours on Friday, April 4th from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home, Inc. 50 Central Street, Hudson, MA 01749. A funeral service and celebration of James life will be held on Saturday, April 5th at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home. Burial services will be held at a later date in Saint Michael's Cemetery, Hudson.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of James may be made to: Amvets Post 208, 5 South Street, Hudson, MA 01749 which benefit the many wonderful charitable events the Amvets Post 208 sponsor yearly.
