James T. Demers

James ("Jim") Demers passed away unexpectedly on Friday July 14, 2023, at UMass Memorial Medical Center in Worcester, MA, surrounded by family and loved ones.

Jim leaves behind his 4 Children : Brandon Deluca-Demers and his fiancé Alexis of Uxbridge, Jessica Deluca-Demers of Putnam Conn., Steven Deluca his wife Sabrina and their children of Northbridge Mass, Nicole Deluca of Spencer Mass.

Jim had 2 different sides to him, there was the big tough guy that wasn’t scared of anything or anyone. Then there was the more sensitive side that all his friends and those who truly knew Jim got to see.

He was also a huge fan of Metal/Rock music and he loved it loud, he would get so into it you could catch him jamming to his air guitar or air drums just like he was on that stage playing with the band. He absolutely loved Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, Megadeath and Dio just to name a few.

Jim also leaves behind six Brothers and Sisters: Lisa Delaney of Whitensville Ma, Mark Demers and his wife Sarah of Wilmington NC, Keith Demers and his wife Amanda of Marlborough Ma, Paul Demers and his wife Gina of Clinton Ma., Doreen Marchant of Douglas Ma, and Theresa Algeri of Worcester Ma, Jim also leaves behind 5 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews throughout Mass.

He was the son of the late Joseph A. Demers and Ruthie (LeSage) Demers and Brother to Joseph R. Demers.

Jim will be truly missed by everyone who knew him. Graveside inurnment services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday Aug 19, 2023, at Evergreen Cemetery in Marlborough, MA; followed by a Celebration of Life at the Loyal Order of Moose Lodge, 67 Fitchburg Street, Marlborough, MA.
