MARLBOROUGH: James "Jim" M. Mosso, 57, passed away on Monday, February 24, 2025, at UMass University Campus in Worcester, MA.
Born in Leominster, MA on February 11, 1968, to Shirley (Weymouth) and the late James L. Mosso, James was a lifelong resident of Leominster before moving to Marlborough, where he resided for the past 20 years.
James leaves behind his beloved husband of 32 years, Edmund "Eddie" Marcheterre. He is also survived by his sister Mary Mosso of Pennsylvania, his nephew Marc Mosso, his sister-in-law Gloria Barry and her husband Jack of Maynard, MA, his brother-in-law Kevin Marcheterre and his wife Patrica of Blackstone, MA, as well as other relatives and friends. James was predeceased by his father and his infant sister, Debra.
James will be remembered for his gentle nature, kind spirit, and unwavering willingness to help others. He volunteered for many years as a dispatcher at the American Red Cross in Worcester, MA. James also had a deep love for his two Capuchin monkeys, which he fostered in his home through the non-profit organization "Helping Hands Monkey Helpers of America" and assisted him with daily tasks.
Visiting hours will we held from 9 am to 11 am on Saturday, March 8, 2025, at TIGHE HAMILTON REGIONAL FUNERAL HOME, 50 Central St., Hudson, MA followed by an 11 am funeral service at the funeral home. Burial services will precede at Forestvale Cemetery on Broad St., Hudson, MA.
