James Byron Dean Musto, 54, of Lakewood, Colorado died November 26, 2010 at home. Jim was born October 27, 1956 in Marblehead Massachusetts and spent the first 23 years of his life living in the North Shore area of Massachusetts. He developed a passion for the mountains of Colorado and relocated there in 1979. Jim had a gift of helping others in need and would be known for giving his jacket to a stranger or of inviting a homeless man to sleep on his couch on cold winter's night. Jim is predeceased by a son Brandon James Morrison Musto. Jim is survived by a daughter Melanie Rose Lennon Musto and grandson Cannon of Westminster, Colorado; Loving parents Theresa Musto of Hudson, Mass.and Ronald Musto of Vero Beach Fla; siblings Mary Moura of Medford Ma., John Musto and wife Kim of Boxboro, Ma., Donna Roe and husband Carl of Merrimack, NH, Anne Thordal and husband Brian of Minot, N. Dakota, several nieces, nephews, cousins, and many, many friends. Visitation will be held on Sunday, Dec. 5th from 12:00 noon to 1:00 p.m. followed by a funeral service on Sunday, Dec. 5th at 1:00 p.m. in the Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home, Inc. 50 Central Street, Hudson, MA 01749. Burial will follow in Forestvale Cemetery, Hudson.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Jim's name to your local Homeless Shelter, Soup Kitchen, or to the Salvation Army.
