Janeen Rose (Cofelice) Calvao

Janeen R. (Cofelice) Calvao, 63, of Hudson, MA died on Friday, June 24, 2022 at home surrounded by her loving family.

She leaves her husband of 41 years, Steven Calvao; her daughter, Carissa Barker and husband Stephen; her son, Joseph Calvao and wife Rachel along with her two sisters, Doreen Scofield wife of the late Carlton “Skip” Scofield and Colleen Lound and husband Dennis Lound. She was predeceased by her son Derek Calvao; her parents, Rocco and Leda (Simard) Cofelice and her sister the late Marlene Perry wife of the late Ralph Perry.

She graduated from Hudson High School in 1976, and then went on to work at Digital, Networks Unlimited, and Power Partners.

Janeen was an amazing cook, talented party planner for family celebrations and holidays, and an avid gardener. Above all else she enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, Matthew, Emerson, Alex, and Jackson, who she always made feel special and loved.

To know her was to love her. She will be dearly missed for her generous and caring spirit and her eagerness to do anything for her family. Her family and friends will always hold onto the amazing memories of her.

Relatives and friends are invited to a period of visitation from 4-7pm on Wednesday, June 29, 2022 at Tighe Hamilton Regional Funeral Home, 50 Central St., Hudson, MA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9am on Thursday, June 30, 2022 at Saint MIchael Parish, 21 Manning St., Hudson, MA; followed by a procession to Saint Michael Cemetery in Hudson for Committal Services.
