Kelly, Janet L. (Senecal)

Of Hudson, MA passed away on Sunday August 4, 2024 at the age of 90. Born in Framingham she was the daughter of the late Peter and Cora (Gelina) Senecal. Janet lived the majority of her life in Holliston and Hudson, only recently moving to Coleman House Assisted Living in Northborough. She was a member of the class of 1951 at Framingham High School. After high school she graduated from Chandler Secretarial School of Boston. Janet worked as an elementary school Secretary, and then for many years as an Executive Secretary for companies like General Electric and Raytheon. But her career started at Carling Brewing Company in Natick, where she met her life partner and best friend. Janet and Barney loved sports and spending time together. They traveled to many baseball, soccer, hockey, and lacrosse games, as well as many dance recitals, enjoying their grandchildren. 

Janet was a mainstay at Hudson baseball games, keeping score at each one and answering the kids as they asked her how they did at the plate that game. Janet was the much loved and devoted wife of Bernard W. (Barney) Kelly; mother to Brian and Karen, and her late husband Scott Rundlett. She was the sister of the late Peter and Robert Senecal. Janet was the very proud grandmother to Brendan and Leighann Kelly, and Bill and Maddie Rundlett. She is survived by many nieces and nephews. A private Mass will be held at a future date.
