Hudson, MA
Janice A. Moore, 63, a life long resident of Hudson, died on Friday, Dec. 16th at Metro West Medical Center, Framingham Union Hospital.
Janice was born in Marlboro and raised in Hudson, daughter of the late Ralph L. and Alice M. (Blake) Moore. She attended local schools and was a 1966 graduate of Hudson High School. She was employed by the former Zayre Corp. in Framingham as a buyer for many years until her retirement. Janice enjoyed knitting, crocheting, crafts and puzzles in her spare time and was an avid Red Sox fan. She was a member of the Magnolia Rebekah Lodge in Hudson and past president of Rebekah Assembly of Mass. She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Hudson.
She is survived by her three siblings, Arthur Moore and his wife Dianne and Barbara Moore, both of Hudson and Marilyn Haynes and her husband William of Barre. She also leaves her five loving nephews.
A funeral service celebrated by Pastor Michelle Grube will be held on Tuesday, Dec. 20th at 9:00 a.m. at the United Methodist Church, 34 Felton Street, Hudson. Burial will follow in the Bellevue Cemetery, Harvard. Calling hours will be held on Monday, Dec. 19th from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home, Inc. 50 Central Street, Hudson, MA 01749. The Rebekah Lodge will conduct their ritual on Monday evening at 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
