Jean L. (Johnson) Gotthardt, 87, a long time resident of Hudson, died on Sunday, Oct. 2nd at Beaumont Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing Center in Northboro. She was the beloved wife of the late Russell Gotthardt who died in 2000.
Jean was born and raised in Struthers, OH, daughter of the late Roy and Anna (Stout) Johnson. She has been a resident of Hudson since 1963 and was employed by the former R. J. Harrity Co. of Hudson for many years until her retirement. She was a member of the Northboro Church of Christ. Jean was a loving mother and especially enjoyed the time she shared with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She is survived by her two sons, David Gotthardt of Anaheim, CA and Douglas Gotthardt of Hudson. She is also survived by her two sisters, Joan High and Phyllis Unger, both of Ohio; 5 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 4th at 11:00 a.m. in Forestvale Cemetery, Broad Street, Hudson. There are no calling hours. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of: Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home, Inc. 50 Central Street, Hudson, MA 01749
