Jean L. (DuVarney) Izbicki-67, of West Boylston, MA, formally of Hudson, MA, died Thursday, May 10, 2007 at the University Campus of U-Mass Memorial Healthcare in Worcester.
She was the wife of the late Kenneth J. Izbicki who died in June of 1990.
She was born in Worcester, MA, daughter of the late Theodore and Laura (Wastila) DuVarney. She was raised in Worcester and West Boylston .
She resided in Hudson for 42 years before moving to West Boylston on October of 2006.
She was employed as an LPN for Bolton Manor Nursing Home in Marlborough for many years and later as an administrator for the former Digital Equipment Co. of Maynard for many years retiring in 1992.
She is survived by her 3 children, Kenneth J. Izbicki and his wife Anne of Pepperell, MA, Lynne M. Izbicki of Los Altos, CA, and Beth Bomarsi and her husband Eric of Northborough, MA. She is also survived by her sister, Margaret Noonan of Wells, ME, her 2 brothers; David DuVarney of Arizona, Theodore DuVarney of Virginia; 7 grandchildren, Kenneth, Andrew and Blaire Izbicki, Eric and Brian Bomarsi and Katrina and Amanda Goguen along with many nieces and nephews.
She was the sister of the late Laura Manners.
A memorial service will be celebrated Monday, May 14, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. in Our Lady of Good Council Church, 111 Worcester Street, West Boylston, MA. There are no calling hours. Burial will be in Forestvale Cemetery, Hudson, MA. at a later date. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home, Inc. 50 Central Street, Hudson, MA 01749.
