M. Jeanne (Kenneally) England, 80, a longtime resident of Marlboro and currently residing in Hudson, died on Thursday, July 16th surrounded by her loving family at her home in Hudson. She was the beloved wife of 43 years to the late Earl H. England who died in April of 2014.
Jeanne was born in Boston, daughter of the late Edward P. and Esther H. Kenneally. She was raised in Brighton where she attended local schools. She had resided in Marlboro for 45 plus years and took great pride in raising her family and the care of their home. She was a member of the Hudson Elks; Hudson Eagle's; the Marlboro Moose Lodge; The Italian American Club, Riverside Gun Club and Marlboro American Legion.
Jeanne along with her husband Earl enjoyed frequent trips to Maine where they would visit the many Lighthouse attractions and also visiting the many beaches of Maine. She truly cherished spending time with her family and always looked forward to the many special events throughout the year. Her loving spirit and joyful humor will be forever remembered.
She is survived by her three children, Cheryl Poirier and her husband Robert of Naples, FL, Stephen Kilburn and his wife Cidalia of Clinton, Dawn England of Hudson and Dawn's son Patrick England of Marlboro for whom Jeanne raised as a son. She was predeceased by her son, Joseph Kilburn in 2012. She also leaves her 13 grandchildren including Patrick; 13 great grandchildren and 5 nieces.
A funeral service and celebration of Jeanne's life will be held on Monday, July 20th at 11:00 a.m. in the Tighe-AHamilton Funeral Home, Inc. 50 Central Street, Hudson, MA 01749. Burial will follow in Forestvale Cemetery, Hudson. Family and friends may attend calling hours on Sunday, July 19th from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
