HUDSON

Jeffrey E. Gray, 76, of Hudson, MA, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 3, 2018, at Rose Monahan Hospice in Worcester, MA, surrounded by his loving family, after a courageous battle with interstitial lung disease.

Jeff was born on January 4, 1942 in Brighton, Ma a son of the late Robert and Dorothy (Descheneaux) Gray. He was raised in Lincoln, Ma, where he attended school and after graduating from high school he went on to earn his bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Wentwoth Institute of Technology in Boston. He eventually settled in Acton, MA, where he lived for many years before later moving to Hudson where he has resided for the past 18 years. Jeff established a very successful career as a wholesale car dealer for many years before his retirement.

Cars and Politics were two of Jeff’s greatest passions in life; strong in his beliefs, he stayed active in local government and volunteered his efforts when compelled to action for a cause he believed in. Jeff was an avid reader and was regarded by all for his extremely hard work ethic. His greatest love on earth was his family, especially his grandchildren.

Among his heartbroken survivors, Jeff leaves behind his beloved daughter, Kristin L. (Gray) Lembo and her husband Carl of Hudson; a brother, John Gray of N.H.; his sister, Martha Gray and two grandchildren, Evan Lembo and Maysa Lembo. In addition to his parents, Jeff is also predeceased by his brother, Robert Gray and sisters, Patricia Piccorillo and Jane Bierwirth.

A memorial service will be held privately by the family at a later time. TIGHE HAMILTON REGIONAL FUNERAL HOME is honored to be assisting with his arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in Jeff’s name to the Hudson Public Library, 3 Washington Street, Hudson, MA 01749.
