Jeffrey A. Wilkins

Jeffrey A. Wilkins, 70, of Piketon, OH, formerly of Hudson, MA, passed away peacefully at home, on Thursday, July 18, 2019.

Jeffrey was born in Clinton, MA on November 8, 1948,  son of the late Henry J. and Gladys (Holland) Wilkins. He spent his childhood and teenage years in Hudson, before moving to Ohio to attend Good Shepherd Manor (now Scioto Trails ) in Wakefield, OH  at the age of 17 and has resided there for the past 53 years.

Jeff loved his annual visits home to New England to see his family and spend time in Maine at the ocean. He was an avid artist and also enjoyed playing cards with friends and family.  Jeffrey also had a passion for shopping.

Jeffrey is survived by his brother, James D. Wilkins and his wife Janice of Hudson, MA;  sister, Lynne Kavanagh, of Charleston, SC;  nieces and nephews, Jackie Wilkins, Doug Wilkins, Kyle Kavanagh, Cullen Kavanagh and Kerry Kavanagh and many close cousins and extended family members.

The family wishes to extend their gratitude to the staff of Scioto Trails for their many years of compassionate care.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Jeff’s memory to Scioto Trails, 374 Good Manor Road, Lucasville, Ohio 45648.

A graveside prayer service will be held at 11 am on Wednesday, July 24, 2019, at Forestvale Cemetery on Broad St. in Hudson, MA.  Arrangements are entrusted under the care of Tighe Hamilton Regional Funeral Home.
