Joan M. (Montanya) Owen, 65, of Hudson, formerly of Marlboro, died December 16th at Metro West Medical Center in Framingham. Born in Goshen, NY, daughter of the late Mailan Montanya and Marie (Reyns) Dolan. Predeceased by her paternal father who died in WWII. She leaves her adoptive father, Robert Dolan of New York; a sister, Alice Dolan and three nieces of her late sister Diane (Dolan) Edwards. In Massachusetts, she leaves two sons, Edward Owen and his wife Beth (Bruso) of Hudson and Robert Owen and his wife Sheri (Ames) of Clinton. Joan had two grandchildren, Leia and Denton Owen.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, Dec. 27th at 12:30 p.m. at the Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home, 50 Central Street, Hudson, MA 01749. Burial will take place in New York at the convenience of the family. Calling hours will be held from 11:00 a.m to 12:30 p.m. at the funeral home prior to the service.
