Hudson, MA
John J. Hlystek, 54, of Hudson passed away unexpectedly at his home on Sunday, Jan. 3rd.
John was born in Boston, son of the late John F. Hlystek and is survived by his mother, Mary E. (Damon) Hlystek of Hudson. He was a lifelong resident of Hudson where he attended local schools and was a 1979 graduate of Hudson High School. He was employed as a machinist for the past 35 plus years by the Machining for Electronics Company in Hudson. He was a member of Saint Michael's Parish in Hudson.
John had many interests in his life including fishing, skiing, motor cross riding and snowmobiling. He always looked forward to a great camping trip with family and friends. He truly cherished being with his family and especially loved being with his two loving daughters. His life was short and his gentle soul will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Besides his mother, he is survived by his wife of 21 years, Nancy B. (Bialla) Hlystek; his two daughters, Hannah and Jenna Hlystek, both of Littleton along with many cousins and friends.
A funeral mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, Jan. 12th at 9:00 a.m. in Saint Michael's Church, 21 Manning Street, Hudson. Burial services will be held privately at the convenience of the family in Forestvale Cemetery, Hudson. Family and friends may attend calling hours on Monday, Jan. 11th from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home, Inc. 50 Central Street, Hudson, MA 01749.
