John Joseph "JJ" Kerdok-80, of Hudson, MA, died Thursday, July 27, 2006 at Bolton Manor Nursing Home, in Marlborough.

Born in Hudson, MA, he was the son of the late; Michael and Delia (Vidvil) Kerdok.
He was a graduate of Hudson, H.S. class of 1943 where he was an outstanding athlete. He was inducted into the Hudson H.S. Athletic Hall of Fame as a member of the 1941 championship football team. He was a Navy veteran of WWII and graduated from Boston College. He began his career after college as a salesman for Worcester Braid, a division of Thomas Taylor Inc., in Hudson, MA. He was a proud member of the Hudson Lodge of Elks and a lifelong member of Saint Michael's Parish in Hudson.
He is survived by his sister; Antonia Kotarski of Hudson, MA, he was the beloved uncle of Ann Hildreth and her husband Stephen, Richard Kerdok and his wife Gerry, Robert Kerdok, Judy Kerdok and Nancy Kerdok Girard and her husband Michael, all of Hudson. He was the great-uncle of Michael Hildreth, John Hildreth, James Verrier, Susan LaPalme, Sarah Kerdok Donato, Amy Kerdok and Laura Girard. He also leaves five great grand nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Anthony F. Kerdok and uncle of the late Katherine Verrier and James Kerdok.
A funeral mass will be celebrated Monday, July 31, 2006 at 9:00 a.m. in Saint Michaels Church 21 Manning street Hudson, MA. Calling hours will be Sunday, July 30, 2006, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home, Inc. 50 Central Street, Hudson, MA 01749. The Hudson Lodge of Elks will conduct their ritual at 7:00 p.m. on Sunday.
