John E. Perry Jr., 63, of Hudson, former long time resident of Arlington, died on Wednesday, Dec. 26th at Marlboro Hospital. He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Karolyn J. (Zimmerle) Perry of Hudson.
John was born and raised in Somerville, son of the late John E. Perry Sr. and is survived by his mother, Mary J. (Duarte) Perry of Worcester. John was a veteran of the Vietnam War, serving in the U.S. Army until being honorably discharged. He was currently employed as a nurse with MetroWest Medical Center in Framingham.
Besides spending time with his family, John loved the outdoors were he enjoyed fishing and hunting in his spare time. He was a member of Saint Michael's Parish in Hudson.
Besides his wife and mother, he is survived by his daughter, Laura J. Perry of Hudson; his brother, Kevin Perry and his wife Joanne of Middleton; his cousins, Joyce Burke of Belchertown, Regina Foster and Stephen Foster, both of Everett and his two nephews, Brian Burke of Worcester and James Perry of Middleton.
Family and friends may attend calling hours on Friday, Dec. 28th from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home, Inc. 50 Central Street, Hudson, MA 01749 followed by a service and celebration of John's life on Friday, Dec. 28th at 8:00 p.m. in the funeral home. Burial services will be held at the convenience of the family.
