Jose M. Monteiro-71, of Hudson, MA died Saturday March 31, 2007 at the Beth Israel Hospital, Boston.
He was husband of Maria I. (Meneses) Monteiro for 35 years.
He was born in Santa Maria, Azores son of the late Francisco Puim Monteiro and Maria (Braga).
He was employed at Entwistle Company in Hudson as a machinist for 30 years.He enjoyed golfing and fishing.
Besides his wife he is survived by a son, Leo Monteiro two daughters; Diane Schiavo and Debbie Monteiro all of Hudson. A sister, Lourdes Monteiro, two brothers John B. Monteiro and Antonio Monteiro all of Hudson. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A funeral mass will be celebrated Tuesday , April 3, 2007 at 9:00 a.m. in Saint Michael's Church 21 Manning street Hudson, MA. Calling hours will be held Monday, April 2nd from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home, Inc. 50 Central Street, Hudson, MA 01749. Burial will be in St. Michael's Cemetery, Hudson, MA.
