Jose P. Cabral, 89, of Hudson, MA, died Friday, May 5, 2006 at home after being stricken ill. He was the husband of the late Filomena (Sousa) Cabral who died in 1986.
He was born in Santa Maria the Azores son of the late Antonio and Antonia (Braga) Cabral. He was employed as a machine operator for Independent Cable Co. of Hudson for many years until his retirement.
He is survived by his children Maria G. Fernandes of Hudson, Liana Blair of Marlboro and Susan Cabral of Sherman Oaks, CA. He is also survived by five grandchildren.
His funeral will be held from the Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home Inc, 50 Central St. Hudson, MA 01749 Monday, May 8, 2006 with a funeral mass at 10:30 a.m. in Saint Michaels Church 21 Manning street Hudson MA. Calling hours will be Sunday, May 7 from 4:00 to 8:00 P.M. in the funeral home. Burial will be in Saint Michael Cemetery, Hudson.
