Joseph A. Bari, 65, of Berlin, former long time resident of Hudson, died at his home surrounded by his loving family and friends on Sunday, Dec. 30th. He leaves his loving companion and long time friend, Debra Healy of Berlin.
Joseph was born in Cambridge, son of the late Fluvio J. and Nicolena (Antonelli) Bari. He was raised in Newton where he attended local schools and was a graduate of Newton North High School. He was a self employed painter for many years operating as J.A. Bari Interior and Exterior Painting. He was a member of the Hudson Amvets, Post 208.
Joseph enjoyed spending time with family and friends, his sense of humor and loving spirit will be remembered by all who knew him. He enjoyed fishing, golfing and boating in his spare time and had a passion for a good game of billiards with friends. He will truly be missed by all who knew him.
Besides his companion Debra, he is survived by his two daughters, Jennifer Bari of Woburn and Carley Alleavitch of Plantation, FL; his three sisters, Anita DelGizzi of Newtonville, Joyce Wentworth of Framingham and Linda Raymond of Marlboro. He is also survived by his three loving grandchildren and his many nieces and nephews.
Family and friends may attend a calling hour on Saturday, Jan. 5th from 12:00 noon to 1:00 p.m. at the Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home, Inc. 50 Central Street, Hudson, MA 01749 followed by a memorial service and celebration of Joseph's life on Saturday, Jan. 5th at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
