Joseph C. Beard

Joseph C. Beard, 47, of Framingham, MA, formerly of Hudson, MA and Marlborough, MA, passed away at his residence on Monday, October 3, 2022 from complications of a long illness.

Joseph was born in Worcester, MA, son of the late Fred Beard and is survived by his mother, Sandra L. (Thompson) Beard. Joseph was raised in Hudson and attended local schools. He always kept himself fit and was very active in body building spending many hours lifting weights and exercising. He also enjoyed the sport of boxing. He has resided in Framingham the past year and spent 10 years in Marlborough prior to his move to Framingham. He resided in Hudson for many years with his family when they settled in Hudson in 1983. As he reached his late teens, his illness began to become chronic and debilitating to his physical health. He will be truly missed but never forgotten by those who loved him.

Besides his mother, Joseph leaves behind his brother, Eric Beard of Rhode Island; two sisters, Beth Fairbend of Portland, ME and Karen Fairbend of Nashville, TN. He also leaves other relatives and friends.

A Celebration of Joseph’s life will be held at the Tighe Hamilton Regional Funeral Home, 50 Central Street, Hudson, MA on Wednesday, October 12, 2022 at 5:45 PM. Family and friends may attend a period of visitation from 4:00 to 5:45 PM prior to the service. Burial services will be held privately.
