Joseph B. Culkins, 71, of Hudson, MA formerly of Boxborough, MA died on Sunday, October 22, 2023 at Marlborough Hospital. He is survived by his beloved wife of 26 years, Theresa A. Dimouro of Hudson, MA.

Joseph was born in Concord, MA, son of the late Bernard and Edith (Macinnis) Culkins. He was raised in Boxborough attending local schools and was a 1970 graduate of Acton-Boxborough High School. Following high school Joseph served in the U.S. Air Force until he was honorably discharged after serving for 6 years. He was a colorist in the vinyl manufacturing industry and worked for many years with the Haartz Corporation in Acton, MA until his retirement.

Besides his wife Theresa, Joseph leaves his 4 brothers, William Culkins and his wife Jo-Ann of Fitchburg, MA, Edward Culkins and his wife Robin of Ayer, MA. Patrick Culkins and his wife Tracy of Lancaster, MA and Thomas Culkins and his wife Rose of Shirley, MA. He also leaves his step-son, Michael Algeri of Hudson, MA; his 2 grandsons Jacob O’Loughlin-Algeri of New Hampshire, Jack Anello of Hudson, MA along with many nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his brother Raymond Culkins and step-daughter Ann-Marie Algeri.

Joseph led a simple life enjoying the precious times he shared with his family. In his spare time he enjoyed golfing with friends at the local golf courses. He will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew him.

Funeral services for Joseph will be held privately at the convenience of the family. Tighe Hamilton Regional Funeral Home, 50 Central St., Hudson, MA is honored to be assisting Joseph’s family with arrangements.
