Julio C. Bosio Jr., 71, of Hudson, former long time resident of Somerville, died on Sunday, Dec. 18th at Marlboro Hospital. He leaves his beloved wife of 51 years, Virginia (Paige) Bosio of Hudson.
Julio was born in Medford and raised in Somerville, son of the late Julio C. Bosio Sr. and Margaret (Pagano) Bosio. He attended local schools and was a 1958 graduate of Somerville High School. He resided in Somerville most of his life until moving to Hudson in 2006. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War, serving in the U.S. Marine Corps. He was a manager at the Pepsi Cola Co. in Allston for 36 years until his retirement.
Besides his wife, he is survived by his four children, Julianne Nichols of Wilmington, Christine Glynn and her husband Jack of Framingham, Craig Bosio and his wife Jamie of the Cayman Islands and Dorothy Bosio and her partner Adam Trevico, both of Hudson. He is also survived by his sister, Jeanne Fuller of Arizona; his brother, Charles Bosio and his wife Theresa of Hudson and his six grandchildren, Brian and Bridget Glynn, Cole Nichols, Paige and Patrick Bosio and Francesca Bosio.
A funeral mass will be celebrated on Friday, Dec. 23rd at 9:00 a.m. in Saint Michael's Church, 21 Manning Street, Hudson. Burial services are to be held at the convenience of the family. Calling hours will be held on Thursday, Dec. 22nd from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home, Inc. 50 Central Street, Hudson, MA 01749.
