June M. (Heinbach) Lent, 69, of Marlboro, MA and formerly of Stow, MA and New York, died unexpectedly on Monday, Dec. 20th at her residence. She was the wife of the late Charles D. Lent for 50 plus years until his death in 2005.
June was born in Wilkes-Barre Pennsylvania, daughter of the late Walter and Vera (Nulton) Heinbach. She spent most of her life as a homemaker, raising her five children and took great pride in the care of her home. She was an avid reader and enjoyed the many aspects of Political science and history. June had a great love for animals and especially enjoyed caring for her two cats.
She is survived by her five children, Elizabeth Sanzone and her husband Bob of Hudson, Anthony Lent and his wife Pamela of Michigan, Colleen Lent and her husband Jonathan Weibel of New Hampshire, Michelle Lent of New York and Michael Lent and his wife Sonia of California. She is also survived by her sister, Elizabeth Hunt of New York; seven grandchildren and three nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, Dec. 23rd at 10:00 a.m. at the Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home, Inc. 50 Central Street, Hudson, MA 01749. Burial will follow in Forestvale Cemetery, Hudson. A calling hour will be held on Thursday, Dec. 23rd from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
