Katherine M. (Norris) Jordan

Katherine Jordan, age 95, died March 29, 2020, at her home in Marlborough, MA.

She was the wife of Christopher Jordan who died in 1987.

Born in Montrose, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late Kenneth and Helen Norris and lived in Pennsylvania until she entered training at Charles S. Wilson Memorial Hospital in Johnson City, New York, graduating in 1946 as a Registered Nurse.

Following this, she worked at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland.  Other hospitals included Wilson Memorial, New York Hospital, Jacobi and Montefiore in New York City.

In 1967, the family moved to Marlborough, Massachusetts, where Mrs. Jordan continued nursing at Braemoor Nursing Home, Marlborough Hospital and Senior Home Care until she retired in 1989.

She is survived by her son, Timothy Jordan and his wife Deoris of Hudson, MA, her daughter, Julie Garon and her husband Timothy of Upton, MA, three grandchildren Ryan Jordan and his wife Sarah of Hudson, MA, Lindsay Jordan of Hudson, MA and Christopher Jordan of Marlborough, MA. Many great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.  She was the mother of her late sons, Thomas and James.

Mrs. Jordan was a member of the Immaculate Conception Parish, Marlborough, MA.

Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery in the family plot.
