Kathleen A. (O’Donnell) Headberg, 68, a longtime resident of Hudson and Marlborough, passed away peacefully at home, on Wednesday, November 6, 2019, surrounded by her beloved family, after a period of declining health.
Kathleen was born in Marlborough Hospital on November 28, 1950, a daughter of the late Hudson Police Sgt. Charles W. and Patricia T. (Wallace) O’Donnell. She was raised in Hudson, MA, where she graduated from High School in the class of 1968.
Kathleen is survived by her two sons, Corey M. Headberg of Marlborough, Eric C. Headberg of Marlborough; her daughter, Stephanie J. Keane and her husband Adam and his two daughters, Maggie and Gigi. She was also survived by her beloved companion and love of her life, Michael J. Himmelman of Hudson and her sister, Maureen Giancola. In addition to her parents, she was also predeceased by her sister, Sharon M. Girard.
Kathleen was a caring and selfless person who always put the needs of other before those of her own. She was a people person, who enjoyed meeting new people and spending time with her friends and family. Kathleen also loved shopping and adored her dog “Holly”.
Services will be held privately at a later date per Kathy’s request. Tighe Hamilton Regional Funeral is honored to be assisting with Kathleen’s arrangements.
Kathleen’s family would like to thank her caregivers Margo and Shelly. The family is extremely grateful for the care provided by Metrowest Hospice, especially Jamie, James and Richard.
