Kenneth J. Dennis, 65, of Hudson, died Thursday, November 8, 2007 at his residence with his loving family at his side.
He was the husband of Shirley M. (Woodworth) Dennis of Hudson for 41 years.
Born in Waterville, ME, he was the son of the late Alcide J. and Marie G. (Vigue) Dennis.
He was a former employee of the Giroux Trucking Co. of Worcester, formally of Marlborough as a truck driver until he retired after many years of service. He also worked part time after retirement for the Sunshine Cab Co. in Hudson. He was an avid pool player participating in many leagues in the Hudson area. He had many hobbies including wood working and legos.
Besides his wife he leaves his children, Dale A. Dennis and his wife Jennifer, Ashley M. Dennis, both of Hudson, MA, Rhonda DiMatteo and her husband Daryl, and Georgianna Nadeau and her husband Scott, both of Rutland, MA. He is also survived by his 6 grandchildren, Calyb Dennis, Tabatha Scribner, Justin and Krystal DiMatteo, Alexa and Kyle Nadeau and 2 great grandchildren, Rebecca and Sarah Scribner.
Family and friends may attend a memorial service on Saturday, Nov. 17, 2007 at 3:00 p.m. at the Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home, Inc. (www.tighehamilton.com) 50 Central Street, Hudson, MA 01749. Calling hours will be from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. prior to the service.
