Kenneth R. Houghton, 83, of Bolton, died on Sunday, April 28th at Marlborough Hospital. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Barbara (Gabrielsen) Houghton of Bolton.
Kenneth was born in Westfield and has been a self-employed builder for many years locally. He has been a resident of Bolton the past 55 years and was formerly a resident of Harvard for many years. He was a charter member and one of the founders of the Bolton Lions Club where he also served on several committees and was the organizations President for several years. Besides spending time with his family he enjoyed square dancing with his wife Barbara.
Besides his wife, he is survived by his daughter, Annette Casco and her husband Paul of Bolton; his son, Kenneth Eric Houghton of Bolton and his two loving grandchildren, Nicholas and Kalia Houghton Casco of Bolton.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, May 18th at 11:00 a.m. in West Cemetery, Green Road, Bolton, MA. His funeral arrangements are under the direction of: Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home, Inc. 50 Central Street, Hudson, MA 01749.
