Kevin Lee Curley, 51, of Hudson, died Monday, Jan. 19th at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston after a short illness.
Born and raised in Hudson, and survived by his parents Richard and Charleen (McCarthy) Curley of Hudson, Kevin lived most of his life in Hudson with his family and in his later years resided in Marlboro and Natick.
Kevin, with his teddy bear like appearance, brought tremendous joy to all those who knew and met him. He will always be remembered for his innocent "one liners", his passion for his three wheel bike , clocks and the assurance they would be asked the time, weather and day of the week. Kevin will be missed by all who knew him.
Besides his parents, Kevin is survived by his brother Rick Curley and his fiancAC.e Laura Jeffrey and her daughter Kelsie; his sister, Coleen and husband Jerry Tardif, all of Hudson. He also leaves his nieces Attalissa and Eliza and nephew Connor. He was pre-deceased by his brother Craig D. Curley in 1988; his grandparents, Raymond Sr. and Nora Curley and Charles and Attalissa McCarthy, to whom she held a special spot in her heart for Kevin.
A funeral service will be celebrated on Thursday, Jan. 22 at 11:00 a.m. at the Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home, Inc. 50 Central St. Hudson, MA 01749. Burial will follow in Forestvale Cemetery, Hudson. Calling hours will be held on Thursday, Jan. 22 from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the Funeral Home prior to the service.
The family would like to thank all those who provided care for Kevin, especially Amy Williams, Linsford Francois and David Thuku.
