Kristine G. Cunningham

Kristine G. (Arel) Cunningham, 54, of Hudson, MA, passed on Saturday, September 7, 2024. She was the loving wife of eighteen years to the late Richard E. Cunningham, Jr., also of Hudson, MA, who passed in 2023.

Kristine was born in Manchester, NH, on November 24, 1969, to her parents Ronald A. Arel of Manchester, NH, and Betty A. (Turcotte) Arel. Kristine was raised in Manchester, NH. She graduated from Manchester High School, and has been living in Hudson, MA, for the past eighteen years.

Kristine is survived by her parents Ronald and Betty; her sister Melinda Arel of Manchester, MA; her niece Bryanna Arel; her father-in-law Richard E. Cunningham, Sr., who passed three days after Kristine entered into eternal life; as well as other relatives and friends. She is predeceased by her husband Richard E. Cunningham, Jr.

Kristine loved traveling, and made numerous trips to Ireland to visit family and friends. She enjoyed spending time by the campfire. She had a caring heart, and rescued and adopted older dogs. More than anything, Kristine loved spending time with her family and friends. She will be missed by all who knew her.

Calling Hours for Richard and Kristine will be held on Thursday, September 19, 2024, from 4pm-7pm at Tighe Hamilton Regional Funeral Home, 50 Central Street, Hudson, MA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated for them on Friday, September 20, 2024, at 10am, at Saint Michael Parish, 21 Manning Street, Hudson, MA; followed by a procession to Forestvale Cemetery, Broad Street in Hudson, MA, for Committal Services for Richard and Kristine.
