Laura J. (MacLean) Ducey, 67, of Hudson, died Monday, June 16 at her residence.
She was the wife of 24 years to the late Herbert Ducey who died in 1985.
Born and raised in Waltham, daughter of the late Francis and Viola (Foskin) MacLean, she attended local schools and was a graduate of Waltham H.S. She has resided in Hudson since 1963 and was employed by the Fay School of Southboro as a receptionist for 20 years. Laura was a member of Saint Michael's Parish in Hudson and was an avid gardener, she also enjoyed sewing as a hobby.
She is survived by her 3 sons, Herbert Ducey Jr and his wife Shawn of Berlin, Russell and Scott Ducey, both of Hudson; her brother, Norman MacLean of Hudson; her granddaughter Julia Ducey and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Ruth Morris.
A funeral mass will be celebrated Thursday, June 19, at 9:00 a.m. in Saint Michael's Church, 21 Manning St. Hudson. Burial will follow in Forestvale Cemetery, Hudson. Calling hours will be held Wednesday, June 18 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home Inc. 50 Central St. Hudson.
