Lawrence P. Cody, 77, of Hudson, died on Tuesday, Feb. 10th at UMASS Memorial Healthcare in Worcester after a brief illness.
He was born in Winfield, NY and is survived by his wife of 54 years, Joan (DiGiacomo) Cody of Hudson. He also leaves his children, Michael Cody of Lancaster, Kathleen Lizotte and her husband Thomas of Wilton, NH, Susan Hanley and her husband Sean of Milford, Patrick Cody and his wife Danielle of Leominster, John Cody of Worcester and Christopher Cody of Attleboro; three brothers, Philip Cody of Somers, NY, Kevin Cody of Doylestown, PA and Leo Cody of Springhill, FL;19 Grandchildren and two Great Granddaughters.
Lawrence loved his family and had a great passion for running, he ran two marathons in his fifties.
A funeral mass will be celebrated on Friday, Feb. 13th at 9:00 a.m. in Saint Michael's Church, 21 Manning Street, Hudson. Burial will follow in Saint Michael's Cemetery, Hudson. Calling hours will be held on Thursday, Feb. 12th from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home, Inc. 50 Central St. Hudson, MA 01749.
