Lawrence was an avid fisherman and always looked forward to the many fishing excursions he took throughout his life. In his spare time he enjoyed wood carving, watching sporting events on television and reading, especially in the study of history. Most of all he enjoyed being with his family, especially later with his grandchildren. His memories are to be cherished by all who loved and knew him and his "gift of gab" will truly be missed.
