Leo DeBeradinis 88, of Berlin, died Sunday, October 28, 2007 at Sudbury Pines Extended Care in Sudbury, MA.
He was the husband of the late Bertha (Gaumond) DeBeradinis who died in 1992.
Born in Rockland, MA, he was the son of the late Joseph and Mildred (Davis) DeBeradinis.
He was a graduate of Weymouth H.S. and served in the U.S. Army during WWII.
Mr. DeBeradinis was the former proud proprietor of the popular Mansion House bar on Main Street in Hudson for many years. He sponsored the Mansion House championship softball team for many years locally in Hudson and was a generous contributor to many sporting and public organizations locally. He was a member of the Quinsigamond Yacht Club in Worcester, the V.F.W. of Hudson and the Hudson Lodge of Elks. He was an avid square dancer.
He is survived by his children, Harold DeBeradinis of Hudson, MA, Stephen DeBeradinis of Harrison, ME, C.J. DeBeradinis of Brookfield, MA, Leonard DeBeradinis of Bethlehem, NH, David DeBeradinis of Farmington, ME and Carol Marcheterre of Berlin, MA. He is also survived by his brother, Kenneth DeBeradinis of Woburn, MA; 15 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
He was the father of the late Richard DeBeradinis who died in Aug. of 2007, Kenneth DeBeradinis who died in 2004 and Linda Fuller who died in 1985.
A funeral service will be celebrated Thursday, Nov. 1, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. in Saint Joseph's The Good Provider Church, West Street, (RT. 62) in Berlin, MA. Burial will be in North Cemetery, Berlin.
