Leonard A. Blair, 88, of Hudson, MA, died Peacefully at home Saturday, May 6, 2006. Leonard leaves his wife of sixty three years; Rachel E. (Rapanault) Blair of Hudson.
He was born in Southbridge, MA son of Edward and Rose (Livernois) Blair. He was a graduate of Mary E. Wells H.S. in Southbridge and was a veteran of WWII surving in the U.S. Army. He worked as a purchasing agent for various companies and retired from Honeywell many years ago.
Besides his wife Leonard is survived by his daughter Judith Nally of Hudson and several nieces and nephews. His beloved son-in-law, the late William J. Nally Jr. died in 1991.
His funeral will be held from the Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home Inc, 50 Central St. Hudson, MA 01749 Tuesday, May 9, 2006 with a funeral mass of Christian burial at 9:00 a.m. in Saint Michaels Church 21 Manning street Hudson MA. Visitation will be Tuesday, May 9 from 8:00 to 8:45 A.M. in the funeral home prior to the mass. Burial will be in Saint George's Cemetery, Southbridge, MA.
