Stow, MA
Leroy E. Bandzul, 74, of Stow, MA, died Friday, Jan. 19, 2007 at his residence in Stow after being stricken ill.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Vivian (Prime) Bandzul of Stow.
He was born in Cambridge, MA, son of the late, John and Frances (Jarden) Bandzul.
He was a graduate of Rindge Tech H.S. in Cambridge and was a veteran of the Korean Conflict serving in the U.S. Air Force.
He was a small plane enthusiast and enjoyed his frequent flights as a licensed pilot.
He worked for Vulcan LTD in the maintenance department.
Besides his wife he is survived by his children, Pamela F. Buckley and her husband William of Gulf Breeze, FL, John H. Bandzul and his wife Patricia of Berlin, MA, and Scott E. Bandzul of West Boylston, MA. He is also survived by his sister Margaret Graham of Cambridge and his three grandchildren Shane, Jason and Christina Bandzul.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, Jan. 27, 2007 in the Union Church of Stow, 317 Great Road RT. 62, Stow, MA. (next to Stow Police Dept.) There are no calling hours.
