Lillian M. (Crue) Beland, 68, of Hudson, died on Tuesday, June 10th at the UMASS Medical Center, University Campus in Worcester. She was born in Trenton, NJ, daughter of the late Charles and Lillian (Hanson) Crue.
Lillian attended local schools and was a graduate of Nashoba High School. She was a dispatcher with the Hudson Police Dept. until her retirement. She was a member of the Hudson Amvets Auxiliary and past State President.
She is survived by her four brothers, Charles Crue of West Newburyport, Raymond Crue of Dexter, Michigan, Larry Crue of Hudson and James Crue of Hudson. She was the sister of the late Billy Crue and wife of the late Richard Beland. She also leaves her many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service and celebration of Lillian's life will be held on Saturday, June 14th at 10:00 a.m. in the Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home, Inc. 50 Central Street, Hudson, MA 01749. Burial services will follow in Brookside Cemetery, Stow. Family and friends may attend calling hours on Friday, June 13th from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
