Lincoln E. Broomfield, 81, of Leominster, died on Tuesday, May 12th at Saint Vincent's Hospital in Worcester.
Born in Orange, NJ, son of the late John L. and Edith (McAllister) Broomfield, Lincoln has resided in Leominster the past 45 years. He was a WWII veteran, serving in the U.S. Navy and was employed by Broomfield Labs of Bolton for many years as a machinist until his retirement.
He is survived by his two brothers, Thomas and John Broomfield, both of Bolton and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be celebrated on Monday, May 18th at 11:00 a.m. at the Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 111 Glenallen Street, Winchendon, MA 01475. Burial with military honors will follow at the cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of: Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home, Inc. 50 Central St. Hudson, MA 01749.
