Hudson, MA
Lloyd P. Dubois, 89, a life long resident of Hudson, MA, died on Sunday, January 9, 2022 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of the late Doris (Babcock) Dubois who died in 2006 and leaves his second wife Mary Ann Cormier.
Lloyd was born and raised in Hudson, MA, son of the late William amd Laura (Abaire) Dubois. He attended local schools and was a 1951 graduate of Hudson H.S. As a cabinet maker for many years, he owned and operated Lloyd’s Woodworking Inc. which supplied wood furnishings for churches. He was a member of the former Christ King Parish in Hudson.
He is survived by his two sons, Edward L. Dubois and his wife Elizabeth of Hudson, Mark L. Dubois and his wife Barbara of Hudson; his two grandchildren, Jessica and Nicholas along with his sister Joan Fearing of North Carolina. He also leaves his nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Lloyd took great pride in the operation of his business, devoting many hours to coordinating sales and the manufacturing of the furniture the company specialized in. He was also an avid collector of model trains. He always looked forward to constructing tracks and scenery for his wide collection of Lionel Trains. He enjoyed spending time with his family especially later with his grandchildren.
Visiting hours will be held on Friday, January 14, 2022 from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at the Tighe Hamilton Regional Funeral Home, 50 Central Street, Hudson, MA 01749. A graveside service will immediately follow in South Cemetery, S. Bolton Road, Bolton.
