Lorraine E. (Goss) Wilson, 87, of Hudson, died on Thursday, April 14th at Marlboro Hospital. She was the beloved wife of 33 years to the late John Wilson who died in 1981.
Lorraine was born in Brooklyn, NY, daughter of the late William and Mae (Mitchell) Goss. She was raised in Medford and was a graduate of Medford High School, class of 1948. Lorraine moved to Hudson in 1950 where she raised her family and was employed for 10 years by the Tobin Catering Service working at the Digital Equipment Corporation in Maynard. She was a member of The Rebecca Association and was past Noble Grand Marshall of Rebecca Assembly. In her spare time she enjoyed knitting, crocheting and spending time with her family, especially her children and later on her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She is survived by her son, Richard Wilson of Worcester and was predeceased by her sons Robert and Ronald Wilson and her daughter Ruth Faugno. Lorraine is survived by five grandchildren and four great grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Ethel DeMeo, Ruth Lewis, Dorothy Bacon, Edith Wilson and William Goss. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Family and friends may attend calling hours on Wednesday, April 20th from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. followed by a celebration of life at 7 p.m. at the Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home, Inc. 50 Central Street, Hudson, MA 01749 (www.tighehamilton.com). Burial will be held on Thursday April 21st at 10:30 a.m. in Forestvale Cemetery, Hudson.
