Lorraine B. (Alix) Goldman, 87, of Lancaster, and resident of Hudson for over 50 years, died Tuesday, June 12, 2018, at River Terrace Rehabilitation and Nursing Facility.
She joins the love of her life and husband of over 60 years, Robert H. Goldman who passed on February 17, 2016.
Lorraine was born of the late Albert F. and Doris (Cournoyer) Alix in Spencer, MA. She spent most of her life in Hudson and graduating from St. Michael’s Academy. She was a hairdresser in Maynard and in Hudson retiring from Gayle’s in Hudson.
She was well known for her sense of humor, kind nature and love of social events with her family and friends.
Lorraine is survived by her children, Cheryl White of Clinton, Deborah Quinn of Auburn and Mark Goldman of Hudson, son-in-law Raymond Quinn, two grandchildren, Sean Quinn and Shannon Emilyta both of Oxford, and one great grandson, Jakob Emilyta of Oxford, a sister Theresa (Terry) Perry and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sisters Rita Cutter, Gloria Merrick and Margaret (Peggy) Perez.
Family and friends may attend calling hours at the Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home, Inc., 50 Central Street, Hudson, MA (www.tighehamilton.com) on Friday, June 15th from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. A celebration of Lorraine’s life will be held at St. Michael’s Church in Hudson on Saturday, June 16th at 9:00. Burial services will follow at Forestvale Cemetery, Hudson.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Lorraine may be made to the Alzheimer's Association Massachusetts/New Hampshire, 480 Pleasant Street, Watertown, MA 02472.
