Lucille R. Kerwin (Sirianni) of Marlborough (formerly Hudson), 86 years old died on Friday, May26, 2023, after a period of declining health.
Born in Winthrop, MA, on March 2, 1937, Lucille was the daughter of the late John Sirianni and Rose (Guarino). She grew up in East Boston, MA, until the age of 17 when her family moved to Winthrop, MA.
Lucille is survived by her husband Fred Kerwin of Hudson, MA; sons Robert Kerwin and his wife Diane of Groton, MA, Brian Kerwin and his partner Sandy Swanfeldt of Northborough, MA; sister Jeanette Carney and her husband John of Naples, FL; brother John Sirianni and his wife Janice of Dracut, MA; grandchildren Matthew , Michael, Megan, and Tyler Kerwin; and many close personal friends from Hudson at the New Horizons retirement community in Marlborough, MA, where she has lived since 2019.
After High School, Lucille worked for the Boston Edison as an administrator until she and Fred married in 1960. As newlyweds, Lucille and Fred settled near family in East Boston on Bennington Street until 1967 when they moved into for their first home on Rolling Lane in Hudson, MA.
In addition to being a full-time homemaker, Lucille attended Quinsigamond Community College in the mid 1970’s where she obtained an Associate Degree in Business Administration. She worked various accounting and bookkeeping roles for Digital Equipment, Dell, and the Town of Hudson throughout the span of her working career.
Lucille had many friends, and was always involved in various activities. In the 1970’s and 1980’s, she was a contributing member of the Hudson Garden club, Women’s club and was a frequent swimmer at the Sheraton Tara Health Club in Framingham. An avid traveler, Lucille and Fred traveled extensively in Europe and visited most of the United States.
Lucille was a decades long member of Christ the King Church and Saint Michael’s Parish in Hudson, MA, and took pride in being a devoted Catholic.
Relatives and friends are invited to a period of visitation from 10 AM – 12PM on Wednesday
June 7, 2023, at Tighe Hamilton Regional Funeral Home, 50 Central Street in Hudson, MA. A brief service will begin promptly at 12 p.m., followed by a procession to the Forestvale Cemetery on Broad Street in Hudson MA.
