Lucille M. (Campos) Paradis, 88, of Hudson, MA, passed on Monday, April 1, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. She is predeceased by her first husband Richard Martin, and her second husband Francis Paradis.
Lucille was born in Hudson, MA, on March 14, 1936, to her late parents Joseph Campos and Mary (Augusto), and has remained a resident of Hudson for all of her life until her passing.
Lucille is survived by her daughters Cheryl (Martin) DiLeo and her husband Frank of Uxbridge, MA, and Linda (Martin) Crowley of Smithfield, RI; her five grandchildren Kimberly Pelczarski and her husband Brian of Auburn, MA, Charles H. Crowley and his wife Amy Bocko of Kalamazoo, MI, Lisa DiLeo of Sturbridge, MA, Sean Crowley of Coventry, RI, and Julie Capuano and her husband Ken of Brooklyn, CT; her seven great-grandchildren Philip, Sophie, Rylie, Georgia, Hope, Theo, and Gracie; her lifelong friend of seventy-years, Kathleen Drummey of Hudson, MA; as well as other relatives and friends. She is also predeceased by her long-time friend, Jane Eldredge.
Lucille graduated from Saint Michael Academy in 1953. Lucille earned her Degree from Mount Ida College in Holyoke, MA, in 1955. Lucille worked as a Certified Medical Technologist at Marlborough Hospital until the mid-1990’s. Upon retirement, she began working part-time at several other local medical facilities. Lucille quickly developed a love for traveling when she won her first trip to Barbados on the game show “He Said-She Said” in New York City. She held a particular fondness for York Beach, Maine, shopping and having coffee with friends. However, one of her greatest moments of enjoyment came from hosting and celebrating Christmas festivities at her home. Lucille was well-known for her “open door policy” when it came to welcoming guests into her home.
Calling Hours for Lucille will be held on Monday, April 8, 2024, from 10am-12pm, at Tighe Hamilton Regional Funeral Home, 50 Central Street, in Hudson, MA. A Funeral Service will be held beginning at 12pm following Calling Hours on Monday, April 8, 2024, at Tighe Hamilton Regional Funeral Home; followed by a procession to Forestvale Cemetery, Broad Street, in Hudson, MA, for Committal Services.
