Lucille L. (Stark) Stark

Lucille Stark (93), daughter of Howard and Rosaline (LaMothe) Stark passed away at Oakdale Rehabilitation and Nursing Center on November 12, 2017.

Born in Hudson, MA,  Lucille entered the convent as a Sister of Notre Dame at the age of 18 as Sister Rosalie where she found service in teaching children. She moved to Rhode Island in 1960, where she earned a Master’s in Education and taught science for many years with the Diocese of Providence Catholic Schools at St. Margaret's School in Rumford, RI. Lucille also worked for ten years as assistant director of admissions and discharges at Roger Williams Hospital in Providence before moving back to Bolton, MA.

She is predeceased in death by her brother Raymond Stark, sister Isabelle McCarthy and nephews, Jack McCarthy, Michael McCarthy and niece, Maryann McCarthy. She leaves nephews, Kevin McCarthy and Timothy McCarthy, nieces, Margaret Davis, Eileen Kelleher, Janet McCarthy, Kathleen Brown, Elizabeth McCarthy, and Paula McCarthy, 26 great nieces and nephews, and 33 great-great nieces and nephews, as well as her dearest friend Margaret Nangle of Bolton, MA.

There will be a Mass at St Francis Xavier Catholic Church, 808 Main St, Bolton, MA on December 9, 2017 at 11am.
