Margaret T. (Smith) Crossman, 79, of Boynton Beach, FL, formerly of Marlboro, MA, passed away peacefully on Sept. 19th in Florida. She was the beloved wife of the late Robert C. Crossman Sr. for 24 years prior to his death in 1980.
Margaret was born in Marlboro and raised in Westboro, daughter of the late Michael and Alice (Carville) Smith. She was employed as a Patient Administrator for many years at Marlboro Hospital and later at Bethesda Hospital in Boynton Beach, FL. She resided in Marlboro for many years before settling in Boynton Beach, FL for the past 24 years.
She is survived by her children, Robert C. Crossman Jr. and his wife Janice of Hudson, MA, Mary A. White and her husband Lawrence of Hudson, FL, Janice MacKinnon and her husband Robert and Steven Crossman, all of Hudson, MA. She is also survived by her brother, Richard F. Smith and his wife Mary of Delray Beach, FL, her two sisters, Dru Wenzell of Boynton Beach, FL, Patricia Morrison and her husband Don of New Hampshire; 10 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, Oct. 5th at 1:00 p.m. in Forestvale Cemetery, Broad Street, Hudson, MA. There are no calling hours. Local funeral arrangements are under the direction of: Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home, Inc., 50 Central Street, Hudson, MA 01749.
