Margaret M. (Moran) Machado, 86, of Hudson, died at her home surrounded by her family on Tuesday, Nov. 27th. She was predeceased by her late husband Edward Machado, spending 21years with the love of her life until his untimely passing in 1983.
She is survived by her three sons, Edward Machado and wife Sheryl Machado of Elizabeth, Colorado, John P. Machado of Hudson, and James P. Machado. She is also survived by her three loving granddaughters, Lindsey, Lauren and London Machado all from Colorado; two sisters, Barbara O'Malley of Concord, and Mary Warner of Stuart Florida and many nieces and nephews.
Margaret was born and raised in Clinton, daughter of the late Patrick and Helen (Hastings) Moran. She attended local schools and was a graduate of Clinton High School. She has resided in Hudson since 1962 and was a member of the former Christ the King Parish in Hudson and currently a member of Saint Michael's Parish in Hudson.
Together, Margaret and Ed raised three sons, with Margaret selflessly
devoting all her attentions to her family and to raising her boys.
She is particularly remembered for her generous and giving spirit to
not only her own children, but to her nine local neices and nephews
who were also showered with her loving care all the way through
adulthood. Her charities were always remembered, in particular the
Maryknoll Missionaries which was her dearest. Margaret will be
remembered for many things too many to count, but it is her laughter
and light that will be missed most of all.
