Hudson, MA
Marguerite (Allen) Albertini, 82 years old, of Hudson passed on August 17, 2009 at the Bolton Manor Residence Hall in Marlboro. She was the loving wife of Edmund R. Albertini for 61 years. Born in Fitchburg, she resided in Hudson until 1987 when she and her husband retired to St. Petersburg FL, spending summers with their family on Laurel Lake in Fitzwilliams NH. She leaves two sisters, Alice Sirois of Leominster and Lilian Caron of Fitchburg.
Marguerite is survived by one daughter, Judith Ann Moreira of Hudson; two sons, Robert R. Albertini of Franklin and David F. Albertini of Kansas City, KS and Woods Hole, MA. Her son Edmund S. Albertini passed away in 1993. She leaves 6 grandchildren, Wendy Canaroli, Eric Moreira, Jessica Aiello, Jonathan R. Albertini, and Jenny M. and Lauren M. Albertini. She is also survived by 6 great grandchildren, Jake and Justin Canaroli, Abby, Emma and Alex Aiello, Megan Moreira, and Nora and Benjamin Albertini. Marguerite was a loving and dedicated grandmother who left a strong imprint on her grandchildren and great grandchildren throughout her life.
Marguerite was an entrepreneur while raising her children being remembered in Hudson for her costume and flower businesses and her involvement in Diet Workshop all while keeping balance within her growing family. She and her husband enjoyed 21 years of retirement in Florida where they maintained an avid interest in dancing and travelling. Her ever cheerful disposition will be missed by her friends and family.
Visiting hours will be from 8-8:45 AM on Monday August 24 at the Tighe Hamilton Funeral Home, 50 Central Street, Hudson, MA 01749 followed by a funeral Mass at 9 a.m. in St. Michael's Church, 21 Manning Street, Hudson. Internment will follow at Forestvale Cemetery, Hudson. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend.
