Maria C. DaSilva, 46, of Hudson, died on Saturday, Aug. 6th at Marlborough Hills Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Maria was born in Lisbon Portugal and came to the United States in 1993. She was employed as a bus custodian for the town of Hudson for several years. Maria also enjoyed painting and drawing and took great pleasure in this hobby.
Maria is survived by her son Alvaro DaSilva of Hudson and her mother Maria Afonso of Portugal. She is also survived by two sisters, Maria Louisa Batista and Leonor Afonso of Portugal and two brothers Carlos and Marco Afonso of Portugal and Acacio DaSilva and the Chaves family. Maria also leaves Carlos and Irene DaSilva of Hudson as well as many friends
A funeral mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, Aug 9th at 9:00 a.m. in Saint Michael's Church, 21 Manning Street, Hudson. Burial will follow in Forestvale Cemetery, Hudson. Calling hours will be held on Monday, Aug. 8th from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home, Inc. 50 Central Street, Hudson, MA 01749.
