Hudson, MA
Maria (Coelho) DoCarmo, 90, of Hudson, died on Wednesday, Dec. 8th at her residence surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late Manuel Nogueira.
Maria was born in Redondelo, Chaves, Portugal and has resided in Hudson the past 31 plus years after moving from Serraquinhos, Montalegre, Portugal. She was employed as an assembler by the former Thomas Taylor and Sons of Hudson until retiring in 1986. She was a member of Saint Michael's Parish in Hudson.
She is survived by her five sons, Ilidro Coelho and his wife Irene of Berlin, Manuel Nogueira and his wife Nancy of Hudson, Miguel Nogueira and his wife Carmelia of Hudson, Luis Nogueira and his wife Jackie of Florida, Domingos Coelho and his wife Graca of Hudson and her daughter, Maria Perreira and her husband Mario of Hudson. She is also survived by her sister, Delfina (Coelho) Antunes of Portugal; 16 Grandchildren; 8 Great Grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her two brothers and two sisters.
A funeral mass will be celebrated on Saturday, Dec. 11th at 9:00 a.m. in Saint Michael's Church, 21 Manning Street, Hudson. Burial will follow in Saint Michael's Cemetery, Hudson. Calling hours will be held on Friday, Dec. 10th from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home, Inc. 50 Central Street, Hudson, MA 01749.
