Maria "Lidia" L. (Lordelo) Figueiredo, 66, of Marlboro, former long time resident of Hudson, died on Saturday, Dec. 29th at her residence surrounded by her loving family. She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Manuel J. Figueiredo of Marlboro.
Lidia was born and raised in Santa Maria, the Azores of Portugal, daughter of the late Jose and Maria (Bairos) Lordelo. She resided in Hudson for many years before moving to Marlboro. She was employed by the Bose Co. in Framingham for many years until her retirement. She was a member of Saint Michael's Parish in Hudson.
Besides her husband, she is survived by her three sons, Paul Figueiredo and his wife Tracy of Fitchburg, Steven Figueiredo and his partner Byron of West River, NY and Gary Figueiredo and his wife Elizabeth of Hudson. She is also survived by her two sisters, Celeste Braga of Hudson, Isabel Carvalho of Tampa, FL; her brother, Jose Manuel Lordelo of Pembroke; her four loving grandchildren, Bryanna, Olivia, Nathan and Evan along with her many nieces and nephews
A funeral mass will be celebrated on Thursday, Jan. 3rd at 9:00 a.m. in Saint Michael's Church, 21 Manning Street, Hudson. Burial will follow in Saint Michael's Cemetery, Hudson. Family and friends may attend calling hours on Wednesday, Jan. 2nd from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home, Inc. 50 Central Street, Hudson, MA 01749.
