Angela Marie Andracchio (1911 - 2011)
"Marie" Andracchio of Hudson, MA was a devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Born Angela Marie Sinacola in Brookline, MA in 1911, she was one of nine children, and spent much of her life in Roslindale, MA. Married to Salvatore Andracchio, she had three children; Theresa (Rotondo, of Reading), Joanne (Miller, of Hudson) and Anthony "Sunny" Andracchio of Key West, FL. She was a beloved and enthusiastic waitress, working at Ken's in Copley Square, and for more than 20 years, at White's Corner in Southboro. Marie moved to Hudson in 1963. She served as a cook for the Hudson school system for many years, was an active fundraiser for the Hudson Council on Aging, had many pen pals, and sold ceramics she created in her own shop. She was a strong, independent woman well before it was fashionable. Marie was a devoted grandmother to Christine, Lisa, Julie, Andrea and John, and great-grandmother to Michael, Alia, Andrew, Ava, Anna,Christopher and Jonah and will be missed and always remembered by all who had the luck and delight to meet her over the course of her long life.
A funeral mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, March 2nd at 9:00 a.m. in Saint Michael's Church, 21 Manning Street, Hudson. Burial will follow in Forestvale Cemetery, Hudson. Relatives and friends may visit with the family at the Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home, Inc. 50 Central Street, Hudson, MA 01749 on Tuesday, March 1st from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m.
